tesla Suspension repairs
Tesla suspension repairs are very common in Model 3’s and Y’s. There’s a few well known part replacements that usually need to happen due to normal wear and tear.
Not as common; but still well known about are the suspension repairs for Model S and X.
We can do any of the suspension repairs here at EV Lab, and we offer same day service. Our pricing is much better than at Tesla, using the same quality parts and offering twice the warranty than offered at the Service Center. We can also book you in for your appointment the same week, at your convenience or possibly same day.
Tesla cooling systems
There’s a couple other common repairs that we do here at EV Lab for Tesla owners. Those jobs relate to the heating and cooling system. The first common major failure that is known to occur is the PTC Heater, & second to that is the AC Compressor.
If you have either of those issues occurring it’s important that you avoid driving your car (unless necessary) the car may shut itself off (often unexpectedly) to prevent additional failures and you would have to pay the charge to tow it to a service repair shop.
AC Compressor Service
Almost every older generation Model S and X on the road will have or will need a rotor coolant seal delete performed on their drive unit.
The coolant seal in the the drive unit is know to fail, when this happens coolant begins to leak into the drive unit, at this point, depending on how intense the leaking is you could still getting away with doing a delete and a cleaning of the drive unit.
However, if the leakage is too much, the drive unit might be seriously damaged and would potentially need a rebuild.
That’s why most Tesla S lovers, prefer to do the delete as a preventative service. You can also do a basic status check to see if there is any moisture in your drive unit. Whatever your concern is, we will give you the best information available.

If your vehicle has already been diagnosed by another qualified repair shop or dealership and you are requesting a quote for a complex repair, providing the full details of that diagnosis along with the repair estimate will help us prepare a more accurate estimate.
Regardless of prior findings, we will always perform our own testing to verify the concern. However, when a previous diagnosis clearly leads us to the source of the issue, we may be able to significantly reduce the cost of our diagnostic process.
Our clients ultimately pay for results, and accurate testing is critical. An incorrect diagnosis can lead to unnecessary repairs and significant expense. Every repair is only as reliable as the testing that confirms it is needed, which is why our technicians place a strong emphasis on thorough diagnostic procedures.
